readme.txt file for the 3D Ready Test Image (IOD DLP TEST IMAGE.BMP) This test image is to be used to ensure that the PC, monitor, and shutterglasses are working properly. To use this image with Samsung DLP TV sets: 1) Your PC should be connected to the HDMI 3 input port. This port should be selected as the source. 2) The transmitter should be plugged into the 3D SYNC port on the back of the TV set. 3) Make sure that your PC is outputting 720P (1280 x 720 @ 60 Hz) or 1080P (1920 x 1080 @ 60 Hz) 4) Press the "3D" button on the remote control until the text on the bottom says: "DLP 3D/DUAL-VIEW: ON STD GLS" or "DLP 3D/DUAL-VIEW: ON INV GLS" 5) Start Microsoft Paint on the PC. (Found under "Start" "All Programs" "Accessories" in most installations) 6) Open "IOD DLP Test Image.BMP" 7) Select "View Bitmap" from the "VIEW" option on Microsoft Paint. 8) The test image should be centered on the screen at this point. 9) Put the shutter glasses on. 10) Close or cover your left eye. You should see the letter "R" with horizontal blue and yellow stripes behind it. 11) Close or cover your right eye. You should see the letter "L" with vertical blue and yellow stripes behind it. To use this image with Mitsubishi Diamond Series DLP TV sets: 1) Your PC can be conencted to any HDMI input port. This port should named as "PC" or "Game" and selected as the source. 2) The transmitter should be plugged into the 3D port on the back of the TV set. 3) Make sure that your PC is outputting 720P (1280 x 720 @ 60 Hz) or 1080P (1920 x 1080 @ 60 Hz) 4) Use the “Menu” button on the remote and navigate to the “FX Gaming” tab. 5) Turn the 3D on using the on screen display (OSD) controls. 6) Start Microsoft Paint on the PC. (Found under "Start" "All Programs" "Accessories" in most installations) 7) Open "IOD DLP Test Image.BMP" 8) Select "View Bitmap" from the "VIEW" option on Microsoft Paint. 9) The test image should be centered on the screen at this point. 10) Put the shutter glasses on. 11) Close or cover your left eye. You should see the letter "R" with horizontal blue and yellow stripes behind it. 12) Close or cover your right eye. You should see the letter "L" with vertical blue and yellow stripes behind it.
